Kemudian pada bulan Oktober 2018 kemarin, Roro Fitria akhirnya dijatuhi hukuman selama 4 tahun penjara dan denda sebesar Rp. 800 juta. Jauh sebelum dijatuh hukuman, pada bulan Maret 2018, Roro Fitria harus menerima kenyataan dimana 8 pengacaranya memilih mundur dan tak mau lagi menangani kasusnya.
"Seperti yang sudah saya sampaikan, kami mulai Senin kemarin, tanggal 12 Maret (2018) resmi mengundurkan diri dari kuasa hukum Roro Fitria. Kami satu tim, ada delapan orang, itu resmi mengundurkan diri semua," ucap Nuning, pengara Roro Fitria yang dikutip dari laman entertainment.kompas.com (14/03/2018).
Lantas apa alasan sehingga 8 pengacara Roro Fitria memilih mundur? Apakah karena Roro Fitria tak mampu membayar? Nuning Tyas kembali memberikan alasan mereka mundur dikarenaka Roro Fitria tidak kooperatif denganya dan kawan-kawan.
"Alasannya, karena saya pikir, kami satu tim menilai Roro Fitria sudah enggak sejalan sama kami, sudah enggak satu pemikiran lagi sama kami, jadi kami sepakat untuk mengundurkan diri," ungkap Nuning yang dikutip dari laman entertainment.kompas.com (14/03/2018).
"Karena, kami sudah berusaha maksimal untuk upaya hukum, tapi Roro juga kurang kooperatif, enggak sejalan, enggak satu pemikiran, (Tidak kooperatif) Ke tim pengacara, kalau ke pihak penyidik kan sudah cukup baik, cukup kooperatif. Di sini saya juga enggak bisa menjelaskan secara detilnya apa, kan tetap ada kode etik pengacara," lanjut Nuning yang dikutip dari laman entertainment.kompas.com (14/03/2018)
Bahkan saat sedang menghadapi kasusnya, Roro Fitria kembali berduka atas meninggalnya sang ibunda.
