Melalui akun Instagram pribadinya, Roy mengunggah potret kebersamaan dengan Gading, Selasa (27/11/2018). Dalam foto yang diambil dengan latar hitam putih tersebut, Roy dan Gading nampak berdiri berhadapan. Kepala mereka pun saling menyentuh dan pikiran kalut seakan tergambar dari wajah keduanya.
Melengkapi unggahan tersebut, aktor 66 tahun itu menuliskan sebuah keterangan untuk foto tersebut. Berbagai dukungan serta semangat ditunjukkan Roy untuk Gading yang kini tengah dihadapi masalah rumah tangga.
"Bangkit anakku tetap tegak berdiri selesaikan pertandinganmu sampai garis finish jalani takdirmu," tulis Roy dalam unggahan tersebut, seperti dikutip Okezone dari Instagramnya.
Unggahan yang dibagikan sekitar pukul 11.00 WIB itu pun mampu mencuri perhatian publik. Hal ini terlihat dari jumlah penyuka di Instagram yang mencapai angka lebih dari 9 ribu serta ratusan komentar yang tertulis.
Ucapan semangat yang diberikan sang ayah pun diterima dengan baik oleh Gading. Ayah dari Gempita Nora Marten tersebut menuliskan tanggapan atas ucapan sang ayah.
"Will do dad! Love (saya akan melakukannya ayah)," tulis Gading dengan menyisipkan sebuah emotikon cinta.
Roy Marten nampak begitu menyayangkan rumah tangga Gading Marten dan Gisella Anastasia berakhir di meja hijau. Sebab, bintang film Catatan Si Boy ini tak pernah mendengar pertengkaran yang terjadi antara sang putra dan menantunya.
Hal yang lebih membuat Roy terkejut adalah pernyataan Gisella yang mengungkapkan bahwa permasalahan rumah tangganya dengan Gading sudah terjadi sejak 1,5 tahun lalu.
"Ya memang mengagetkan karena saya tahu mereka baik-baik saja tidak pernah ada masalah, tidak pernah ada keluhan, tapi kan proses perceraian ini tidak tiba-tiba,” ujar Roy seperti dilansir dari salah satu tayangan infotainment di RCTI, Senin (26/11/2018).
"(Masalah) ini terjadi katanya sudah 1,5 tahun peristiwa ini terjadi saya justru baru tahu sekarang bahwa proses ini sudah 1,5 tahun. Saya kira memang tak ada yang tiba-tiba. Memang yang kita ketahui tiba-tiba, tapi di balik itu ada proses yang panjang,” pungkas Roy.
