Vicky mengaku sebelum kejadian itu dirinya selalu menjaga martabat sang istri dan tak sekalipun membuka aib rumah tangganya sendiri. Bahkan ketika gugatan perceraian didaftarkan saja ia masih menjaga kehormatan Angel Lelga.
"Di saat saya diwawancara persidangan pernah nggak saya bilang istri saya begini. Pernah nggak kalian menemukan statement saya beropini miring kepada istri saya. Tapi begitu saya berbuat berarti saya sudah mempertimbangkan. Itu sih maksud saya," jelasnya.
Dalam penggerebekan dinihari itu, seorang artis muda bernama Fiki Alman kedapatan tengah berada di kamar Angel. Sementara Angel terlihat tidak mengenakan kerudung seperti yang biasa ia pakai di depan publik.
Vicky Prasetyo pun kemudian melaporkan Angel atas tuduhan zina. Sementara Angel sendiri kemudian melaporkan balik suaminya ke polisi atas tuduhan pengrusakan. Dalam aksinya kala itu Vicky sempat menjebol pintu kamar Angel Lelga.
