Bukan cuma itu, beberapa teman dekat yang diketahui bersahabat dengan Gading dan Gisel juga ikutan terbawa, salah satunya adalah Sri Devi, wanita cantik yang sempat ada disatu talkshow sebagai bintang tamu bersama dengan Gisel.
Bukan tanpa alasan kenapa netizen menuduh Sri devi menjadi salah satu penyebab retakya rumah tangga Gisel, hal ini dikarenakan adanya pengakuan yang keluar dari mulutnya bahwa dirinya pernah seranjang dengan Gading, bukan Cuma berdua, Gisel juga ada di ranjang tersebut, dan Sri Devi akui, walaupun mereka bertiga bersahabat, seharusnya hal itu memang tidak terjadi, Pamali.
" Karena saking akrabnya enggak sadar, dia, aku, sama Mas Gading, dia main naik-naik saja," jelas Gisel, dikutip Dream, Jumat 23 November 2018.
" Pernah kan kita sekasur bertiga, sekali. Pamali, walaupun bentuknya kaya gini tetap aja pamali. Jadi ya udah jangan," kata Gisel.
Pengakuan blak blakan tersebut dia ucapkan di acara Rumpi yang tayang pada tanggal 19 September 2018, dan uniknya, 2 bulan setelah acara itu atau tepatnya tanggal 19 November 2018, Gisel mengajukan gugatan perceraian ke pengadilan Jakarta Selatan.
Peristiwa ini langsung mendapat tanggapan dari netizen, mereka ramai ramai menuduh Sri Devi adalah pengganggu rumah tangga sahabatnya sendiri, atau peribahasanya ‘Pagar Makan Tanaman’

Melihat komentar yang bisa dikatakan cukup kasar, Sri Devi mengingatkan agar tidak mudah menuduh orang, lidah memang tidak bertulang, tapi hal itu bisa menghancurkan hati.
"The tongue has no bones, but it is strong enough to break a heart. So be careful whwn using it. (Lidah tidak punya tulang, tapi cukup kuat untuk menghancurkan hati. Jadi berhati-hati dalam menggunakannya)," tulis Sri Devi.
Belum ada alasan yang jelas penyebab hancurnya rumah tangga Gisel dan Gading, namun menurut pengakuan dari keluarga Gading, bukan perselingkuhan yang menjadi penyebab Gisel mengajukan gugatan perceraian.
