Bahkan Luna sempat mengungkapkan bahwa ia yang mengenalkan Syahrini kepada Reino di masa lalu. "Ya kan memang dulu saya yang ngenalin mereka. Memang kenal, ya kan memang saya yang ngenalin," ujar Luna beberapa waktu lalu.
Gara-gara berembusnya kabar ini, netizen pun heboh menduga-duga tentang kebenarannya. Tak mau hal ini menjadi berlarut-larut, Reino akhirnya angkat bicara tentang kabar kedekatannya dengan Syahrini.
Yang mengejutkan, Reino tak membantah kabar tersebut. Reino bahkan mengisyaratkan bahwa jika ia memang dekat dengan Syahrini, maka tak ada hal yang salah dengan itu.
"Sebetulnya sah-sah aja saya mau dekat sama siapapun. Saya udah single. Kalaupun memang dia (Syahrini), dia single, bukan istri orang," ujar Reino Barack di Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (19/12), seperti dilansir dari Liputan6.com. "Saya juga bukan suami orang."
Reino bahkan secara terang-terangan mengungkapkan, kedekatannya dengan wanita siapapun bukanlah urusan Luna Maya lagi. "Jadi sebetulnya ya bukan urusan siapa-siapa sih. Urusan saya. Apalagi bukan urusan mantan saya juga," tambahnya.
Selain itu Reino juga menegaskan bahwa tak ada aksi saling "merebut pacar" seperti gosip yang beredar karena ia memang sudah jomblo. "Kecuali merebut atau apa, itu beda cerita. Tapi kan ini nggak, memang udah jelas," tutur Reino.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Reino juga menanggapi gosip munculnya orang ketiga sebagai penyebab putusnya hubungan dengan Luna. Menurut Reino, kehidupan asmaranya saat ini tak ada hubungannya dengan Luna karena mereka memang sudah lama putus.
"Sayangnya, sekarang beritanya digiring menjadi non-factual, seolah-olah ada orang ketiga," pungkas Reino. "Enggak ada urusannya sebenarnya. Kan kita sudah putus hubungan sudah lama."
