Deg-degan, Paula Tak Berani Tatap Wajah Baim Wong saat Duduk Berdampingan di Depan Penghulu

TRIBUNWOW.COM - Paula Verhoeven mengaku sangat deg-degan saat prosesi akad nikah dengan aktor Baim Wong di gedung The Tribrata, Jalan Dharmawangsa, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (22/11/2018) pagi.

Paula menjelaskan, deg-degan itu berlangsung ketika acara akad nikah baru dimulai sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB hingga akad nikah selesai.

Dia baru merasa plong usai Baim mengucapkan ijab kabul.

"Pas mau masuk ke ruangan acara akad sih aku lumayan deg-degan," kata Paula Verhoeven usai acara akad nikah.

Selain deg-degan, Paula juga khawatir.

Dia tidak berani menatap wajah calon suaminya itu saat duduk berdampingan di depan penghulu, wali nikah, dan para saksi.

"Oh iya, pas prosesi, aku mau masuk sampai duduk itu sampai enggak berani lihat Baim ya," ucapnya.

"Tapi alhamdulillah semua berjalan dengan lancar," katanya.

Sedangkan Baim mengaku bahwa dirinya membacakan ijab kabul seraya menangis.

Begitu juga ketika mendengar ayat suci Alquran yang dilantunkan dan tutur kata dari sang ayahanda membuat air mata mengalir begitu saja.

Paula pun membenarkan bahwa suaminya itu menangis saat acara akad.

Ketika Baim menangis, Paula mengira bahwa Baim sedang sakit flu.

"Tadi aku pikir dia (Baim) tuh lagi pilek, dia kan suka flu gitu kan. Jadi aku pikir dia malah nangis apa flu ini ya. Tapi kok kaya flunya parah banget gitu, sampe banyak yang kasih tisu kaya gitu kan," ucapnya.

"Tapi aku enggak bisa nengok gini (seraya melihat ke Baim - red). Tapi pas dirasakan, oh ternyata dia nangis," ucapnya.

Paula juga merasakan haru saat prosesi nikah, namun dia berusaha keras menahan air matanya.

"Kalau aku sih udah nahan-nahan supaya enggak terlalu nangis. Kalau dia (Baim) ternyata lebih (banjir air mata)," ujar Paula.
