Dalam acara tersebut, para sahabat Baim dari kalangan artis pun hadir. Sebut saja Chico Jericho, Tio Pakusadewo, Lukman Sardi, hingga Wulan Guritno. Saat Baim menjalani ijab kabul, Wulan mengaku sempat melihat sang sahabat menangis karena terharu.
"Baim-nya kedengaran (saat ijab kabul) sambil nangis yah. Mungkin saking terharu dan happy-nya," ungkap Wulan saat ditemui usai akad nikah di gedung Tribrata, Jakarta Selatan, pada Kamis (22/11). "Tapi deg-degannya (Baim) jangan salah ucap. Jangan terbata-bata. Tapi ternyata enggak. Dia benar-benar lantang."
Lebih lanjut, Wulan juga menilai bahwa Baim dan Paula memang berjodoh. Aktris berusia 38 tahun ini pun mengungkapkan perjuangan Baim yang selalu sabar menantikan pendamping. Seperti diketahui, Baim sempat dekat dengan beberapa wanita cantik sebelum menikahi Paula.
"Yah mungkin gitu kali yah kalau berjodoh. Kita tahu lah perjuangan Baim kayak apa sampai ke titik ini," ungkap Wulan. "Satu Indonesia tahu, terus selain perjuangannya dan kesabarannya dia juga. Maksudnya dia mau menunggu jodoh dari Allah. Enggak gegabah. Artinya dapat yang terbaik."
Selanjutnya, Wulan juga menyebut Baim dan Paula sebagai pasangan serasi yang saling melengkapi. Tingkah laku Baim yang kocak dan jahil pun diharapkan Wulan bisa mengusir kejenuhan Paula.
"Mereka pasangan yang serasi, saling mengisi. Baim itu kan jahil tapi pekerja keras juga. Paula tuh aku lihat sering dijahilin, jadi kan saling mengisi kan," ujar Wulan. "Mudah-mudahan Paula terhibur terus yah. Hidup sudah berat yah di luar, tapi pulang ke rumah merasa terhibur, nyaman itu kan yang dicari dalam rumah tangga. Mudah-mudahan Baim bisa seperti itu buat Paula."
Sementara itu, Baim dan Paula diketahui memutuskan untuk menikah meski belum lama berpacaran. Selanjutnya, acara resepsi pernikahan Baim dan Paula rencananya akan digelar pada Sabtu (24/11).
